Spiritfarer's quality and almost universal praise from critics would have been enough to get some people interested, and the way the game is made makes it a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch's portability. But because Xbox Game Pass is cheap, players are more likely to try out games like Spiritfarer. Even though a few days isn't enough time to enjoy everything that Thunder Lotus Games' latest project has to offer, it is enough to get a feel for its charm and decide if it's worth players' time. Like Stardew Valley, Spiritfarer is measured in "in-game days," and it will only take a couple of them to see why Spiritfarer is not only worth playing before it leaves Game Pass, but also worth buying at full price.
